Mausoleum Rules and Regulations

- St. Peter's Parish

St. Peter's Mausoleum features an indoor chapel along with a variety of interior and exterior entombment/inurnment options. The chapel is open year-round and is available for committal services, masses of remembrance and other special observances.

Among the Mausoleum rules are as follows:

1. NOTHING (I.E. FLOWERS, PLANTS, ETC.) CAN BE PLACED ON THE GROUND OR AT THE BASE SURROUNDING ANY CRYPTS OR NICHES ANYWHERE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE MAUSOLEUM. PLEASE CALL THE CEMETERY OFFICE (845-452-8580) IF YOU WOULD LIKE A FLOWER VASE ATTACHED TO A CRYPT OR NICHE.

2. ONLY ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS ARE PERMITTED IN VASES.

3. PHOTOS, NOTES, OR CARDS MAY NOT BE TAPED DIRECTLY TO THE CRYPT OR NICHE. PHOTO CAMEOS ARE AVAILABLE, WHICH WILL BE PERMANENTLY ATTACHED TO THE CRYPT OR NICHE DOOR.

4. NOTHING CAN BE TAPED, HUNG, OR IN ANY WAY AFFIXED TO THE CRYPT OR NICHE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MAUSOLEUM. NOTHING, BESIDES EITHER THE APPROVED FLOWER VASE OR PHOTO CAMEO, IS ALLOWED TO BE ATTACHED TO THE CRYPT OR NICHE
